Shrub Roses



Shrub roses can fill a garden landscape with color and rich deep green foliage.

They are bred to be hardy, disease resistant and to bloom throughout the growing seasons. As a result, they will give you beautiful blooms and foliage without requiring endless hours of work.

"Shrub roses" are a recognized formal rose category (like hybrid tea roses) and have their own unique shape but vary in their size. Not all are repeat bloomers, so be sure to ask before you buy if you want a shrub that will bloom repeatedly.

Larger than their tea cousins, they tend to have a spreading shape which makes them a good choice to plant in a stand alone hedge or against a fence. Well breed shrubs provide the total package- beautiful flowers and beautiful lush leaves.
