One of the David Austin English rose group, Gertrude Jekyll is a great rose for those in a warm climate and looking for a repeat blooming modern rose with an Old Rose look.

Its parents are Wife of Bath and the Portland Rose 'Comte De Chambord' and it has that Old Rose heartiness. In full sun and warm air, I have seen it survive and thrive with little care, with barely one flaw in its leathery sculpted notched leaves.

This is a happy rose with an impressive history.
